Ex pupils Kyron Edmonds, Graysen Thompson, Jack Harris & Archie Campbell recently represented New Zealand at the Oceania Championships in Rarotonga, December 2022.

Kyron was part of the U18 Youth team that claimed the silver medal and they will now go on to play in the U19 World Champs in Croatia later this year. Jack, Graysen & Archie were part of the U19 team that were pipped for Silver by Nouvelle Caledonie by 1 goal, bringing home the bronze medal. 

All boys began their handball at Kavanagh College and we have been blessed to have awesome support through Otago handball and NZ Youth handball. Kavanagh College of old has always produced fine handball players and this year as Trinity Catholic College we will continue to strive for dominance in our local secondary school's competition, which runs on Wednesday after school at Kaikorai Valley College, Terms 1 & 4.
