Aya Oseki and Therese Tili recently travelled to Christchurch to play in the Beach Handball Nationals.

 Although they both play indoor handball, this was their first beach handball tournament and were playing for Otago Toroa women’s team, playing alongside former Kavanagh students Annalise Wilson and Madi Sutherland. 

The team had a very successful tournament only losing one game and winning the final in the pouring rain, coming away with 1st place!
