Please discuss your house rules and expectations on the first day of your student's arrival - the expectations of a NZ home are probably quite different for them.

We want to ensure that your student is respectful of the rules of your household and that the experience of hosting a student is harmonious for both sides. If you need support, please let the school know.

For serious breaches of your household rules or health and safety issues (drugs, alcohol, inappropriate relationships, parties, internet use etc) contact the College immediately.

Out of school, the student is expected to have their phone turned on at all times, use a NZ SIM card and always inform their host parent/s :

• Where they are/will be

• Who they are with

• What time they will be home

• How they will travel
