A team of four athletes and parents traveled to Christchurch recently to compete in the South Island Secondary School Athletics.

Congratulations to Suliana Samita who was 13th in the girls under 14 shotput with a throw of 8.39m. Oliver Lodge qualified for the 400m final in a time of 57.95. He then finished 8th in the final, in a time of 60.41. Oliver also finished 8th in the 800m final in a time of 2.17.55. Isaac Tili finished 13th overall in the very competitive 100m in a time of 12.94.  Joseph Brennan performed extremely well with a 3rd in the 300m hurdles, under 16 and a 5th in the 80m hurdles.
