Ted Kerr-Bell, Troy Kubala and Isaac Tili are entered into this year's Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.

They have been rehearsing a battle scene from Macbeth. This week they have had the pleasure of having some Mau Rākau instruction from Connor Ropata. Connor has been teaching them some striking and blocking for them to use in their performance. 

A massive thank you to Connor for his mahi with the boys preparation.

If you are interested in learning Whare Tu Taua Mau Rākau there are free classes every Thursday evenings 6.30-8.30 at Arai Te Uru Marae (24 Shetland Street).  This is available for both boys and girl ages 14 years and up
