Year 10 student Shannya MacRae competed in a regional dance competition over the holidays for the Mosgiel Meenan Dance Centre

The group were dancing a new dance called Survival and were placed first. They will now attend the National competition in Palmerston North in October.

Shannya also got great results in individual dances at the competition, including second in modern jazz and third in hip hop.
