Trinity Year 9 Blue - Year 9/10 Div 2 Champions

Congratulations to Trinity Year 9 Blue Year 9/10 Team who had a 4-2 win over John McGlashan College's top year 9 team in the Year 9-10 Div 2 final last Thursday night. 

JMC were unbeaten throughout the term so it was always going to be tough. 

There were several minutes of even play until Louiz put Trinity ahead. JMC immediately levelled with a power-shot from half-way while Trinity were still celebrating - a sharp lesson for the boys to always face the play. Another two hard fought goals from Stani and Karl put us ahead before JMC snuck their second past Matai. Down with two minutes to play, JMC abandoned their goal defence and attacked hard, but Trinity's defence held. It didn't work out for JMC when they lost possession and Karl drilled a fourth into an unguarded goal from near our own penalty area. 

A great end to a competition where the team improved week after week.
