As part of our time in Sewing Club this year we have worked on making some reusable bags for giving out Food parcels by St Vincent de Paul. (https://www.stvincentdepauldunedin.nz/)

These are needed as single use plastic bags have been taken out of circulation and the organisation looks to find more sustainable solutions. These have been made using donated fabric from old curtains that can’t be used by the Curtain Bank. (https://dunedincurtainbank.org.nz/)
