Yesterday, we celebrated our final Kavanagh College Mass.

It was a time of remembrance and acknowledgment of the past 34 years; it was also a time to think ahead with joy and hope about what is to come as we become Trinity Catholic College in 2023.

Students and staff then moved to the flagpole for the final blessing, haka, and singing of the Kavanagh School Song. While the haka was performed, our long serving staff member and stalwart of the office, Maria Menzies, along with Year 7 student, Ezra Bennett, who is the grandson of Malcolm Farry (the first Board Chair of Kavanagh College), lowered the Kavanagh College flag for the final time.

Thank you everyone, for 34 great years of Kavanagh College history.
