Year 13 Rafting

The Year 13 PE class enjoyed a stunning day rafting down the lower Taieri river last week. The annual 'Taieri Challenge' is an opportunity for the students to apply the leadership principles they have been learning about in class to a Rafting context.  The class was split into four even teams and they had to complete 6 different challenges throughout the course of the day. The challenges were a mixture of land based and water based activities, and they collected points for each challenge depending on where they finished. The students were super competitive but also super supportive of each other and many laughs were enjoyed by all.
