Year 9 Class visits Toitu Museum

The purpose of the year nine’s class visit to this museum is to see what Dunedin was like when the first European settlers arrived, what was the reason for them leaving Scotland and England, and who are Kai Tahu. The class have explored migration across the Pacific by waka and experienced what it may have been like for Europeans travelling by ship in the 1800’s.
