This week has been Tongan Language Week and Trinity students have been using it to promote Tongan culture and identity.

For the 2023 Rockshop Bandquest event, held at Taieri College, Trinity Catholic College entered “The Wallflowerz “ - comprised of Jemma Hapeta on Bass Guitar (Yaer 7), Camila Barnes on Keyboard (Year 8) and Isla Harris on Electric Guitar (Year 7) and all on joint vocals.

There will be a second hand uniform sale at some point in the next school holidays in preparation for the switch to summer uniform in Term 4.

We had a request through the student council for students to be able to start wearing summer uniform earlier than term four due to recent warm temperatures and comfort for the upcoming exam week for senior students.

Last Saturday three Trinity crews competed in the Hip Hop Nationals here in Dunedin.

Susana Mafi recently received two prestigious awards at Southern Rugby prizegiving – Most Promising Junior Female Player and Best Southern Female Player 2023.

Well tournament week is now over and we can reflect on a really satisfying week for all our teams.

Congratulations to Both Silas and Eden Webb who have recently been selected in the Otago Under 15 Hockey teams.

All winter Senior A uniforms are now to be returned washed to Mr Mackenzie in the sports office.
