OSTA Nominations for “Joseph”

Last Friday the OSTA (Otago Southland Theatre Awards) nominations were announced - and Trinity’s production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” received a grand total of 12 nominations competing against adults and community theatre companies.

Trinity received nominations in the following categories:

• Best Makeup & Hair

• Best Properties

• Best Lighting & Visual Augmentation

• Best Wardrobe

• Best Ensemble - Jacob & Sons/Joseph’s Coat

• Best Cameo - Christopher Caulton (Pharaoh)

• Best Leading Male in a Musical - Joseph Kelly (Joseph)

• Best Choreography - Sophie Whibley

• Best Musical Direction - Georgie Watts

• Best Direction - Michael Grant & Sarah Henderson

• Best Youth Production

• Best Overall Musical

The winners of each category will be announced at an awards ceremony in February 2025.

Congratulations again to everyone who was involved with “Joseph” for all the time, energy, expertise, and passion that was put into this production - it was truly a very special show.
