NZSS Beach Volleyball Champs

Congratulations to our Trinity students who competed in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Beach Volleyball Champs recently. A great experience, and a great result!
Evie de Graaf and Paige Clark represented Trinity Catholic College at the NZSS Beach Volleyball Champs in Mount Maunganui last weekend. So proud of the amazing job they did and how well they represented the school.
Day one was a hot day involving lots of learning around new challenges such as hot sand and sharp shells, however the girls played extremely well with close sets every game - losing 2 games and winning one. With the experience of day one behind them, Evie and Paige were in high spirits and better prepared for the second day of the tournament. Yet another hot day was upon them. Day 2 saw wins across the entire day with all three games a victory. Then it was onto finals day with a scheduled match for the Trinity Girls. A tough game was had but they worked hard placing 18th in Div 2 out of 32 girls teams. With over 60 teams in their category and 160 teams all playing on the beach the experience and atmosphere was great for the girls.
