How to let us know if your child is unable to attend school

With new guidelines from the Ministry of Education around school attendance, it is very important that you let us know if your child is unable to attend school on any given day.
This is a friendly reminder that all absences need to be communicated with the school and a reason for your child's absence given (eg. unwell, representative sports event, medical/dental appointment etc). This is to enable our office and teaching staff to keep data around your child's attendance as accurate as it can be for the Ministry of Education.
All absences are given a unique code so that the Ministry can accurately monitor attendance of every child at school.
You can report an absence to the school by;
Phoning the office and leaving a message (Ph. 477 3408)
Logging on to the Edge App and submitting an absence notification. See instructions about accessing the Edge Parent Portal and App via the link below;
