Over the year, our Year 6 tamariki have had the incredible opportunity to participate in Te Ara Moana, a group of dedicated volunteers focused on building confidence and resilience in young people through water-based activities. Every group that attends returns absolutely buzzing with excitement from their day of adventures.

Some of the tamariki's highlights include kayaking, the thrill of being pushed off the jetty into the water, and putting their skills to the test at the beach by navigating small waves.

We are truly fortunate to have this amazing service right at our doorstep, helping shape our tamariki into confident, capable individuals around water.
