The sports leaders put on the inaugural senior gutter board championship in term 1. We had 60 tamariki entered into the three year levels. Finals day was held this week in front of a huge set of fans in the playground. There were some epic games and amazing KURA shown from all competitors and supporters.

Year 5 Girls - Hannah Wright (1st) Tiria Barriball-Finch (2nd)

Year 5 Boys - Mahe Henry (1st) Elton Merewater (2nd)

Year 6 Girls - Ariana Lauati (1st) Sophia Taurima (2nd)

Year 6 Boys - Mason Hutchinson (1st) Kaden Ruha (2nd)

There were a few teachers that took on our eventual winners and let’s just say there weren’t too many teachers who came out on top!

Term 2 will see the sports leaders run padder tennis so we look forward to seeing a new game out on the courts.
