We are very excited to announce that Girl Guides is coming to Titahi Bay from Term 3. Girl Guides is a fun, action packed, opportunity for girls aged 5 to 12 1⁄2 years old. Girls will develop a range of skills, including teamwork and leadership, and earn badges for the activities that they complete, all while making friends and having fun. We will do a range of activities like learning about the environment, getting out in the community, being adventurous outdoors, creating posters and skits, baking and crafts, star gazing, camping, and many more. Sessions will be once a week on a Tuesday after school at the Titahi Bay North School Hall, led by experienced and fully trained adult leaders. We are seeking more volunteers to help out, either on a casual basis or completing the free leadership training to become qualified Girl Guide Leaders. You are welcome to tell us your preferred session time on Tuesday after school. Timing has not been set yet and we are open to suggestions from the community.
