TUMUAKI PĀNUI
Kia ora koutou ngā whānau o te kura o Tītahi Bay,
What another fantastic term of learning it has been at Kura! We recognise that learning comes in many forms, and this term has once again showcased exceptional diversity. From our school show to ePro 8 challenges, multiple language weeks, Kapa Haka performances, sports days, and student exchanges, the term has been filled with enriching experiences.
We are truly fortunate to have such dedicated kaiako (teachers) at our school, and I encourage you to take a moment to express your gratitude to our outstanding staff. It has been a privilege to witness the incredible effort and dedication our teachers and support staff have poured into our school this term. If you believe they deserve it and have a moment to spare, please consider sending a message of appreciation to your child's teacher this week. They have excelled this term, maintaining a consistently positive rapport with our students, addressing their individual needs, and making both learning and school life enjoyable.
As the school holidays approach, it's crucial for our tamariki to recharge and refresh. The best way to achieve this is by ensuring they eat well, get adequate rest, stay active, limit screen time, and connect with the special people in their lives. I wish you all a safe and joyful holiday period, and as always, we eagerly anticipate welcoming back our students with their smiling faces on Monday, October 9.
For those of you spending time at our kura during the holidays, we kindly request your assistance in keeping our much loved kura environment clean and tidy.
Thank you for your continued support.- Poipoia te kakano kia puawai - nurture the seed and it will blossom.
kia pai tō rā whakatā - have a great weekend.
