The Junior School are learning about Safety at the Beach -  Always going to the beach with an adult, swimming between the flags and being SunSmart. Te Wana went down to the beach today and Kākano and Koru are on their way tomorrow - we thank the Titahi Bay Surf Club and their lovely Lifeguards, India and Kaya, for their help with getting this important message to our tamariki.  It is important our tamariki know what the Titahi Bay Surf Club is about and how they can go up to one of the lifeguards at any time for help.  I strongly believe that this is very important for our KURA kids as things can go wrong on the beach and they need to know how our lifeguards work and what their role is.

As one of the Life Members of Titahi Bay Surf Club I feel very strongly about learning safety at the beach.
