KERRY'S THOUGHTS

The last newsletter for 2021 and what a year it has been. We are quite used to saying events are postponed, cancelled, new dates, new venues or we are 'going ahead but it will be different'. I feel our KURA kids have learnt to be ready for change and resilient and that means in 2021 we learnt lots.

A big reminder school finishes on MONDAY 13 DECEMBER AT 12.30PM. We will all go to the school hall at 12.00PM. There will be no fruit delivered on Monday for morning tea and no lunches arriving at school, please ensure your tamariki bring morning tea to school with them on Monday.

I thank all our school whānau for your support of our teachers and school. I thank you for all the listening to what we needed to happen at school and at each Alert Level. Most of all I want to thank you for entrusting your tamariki in our staff and school. We have enjoyed another year of fun, laughter and learning with all our KURA kids.

School starts back on Thursday 3rd February 2022. Until we see you again enjoy the holidays and having fun on the beach, biking, walking, reading and catching up with whānau.
