This week our school came alight with fire poi, swords, hoops, batons and the smiles of our tamariki as they learned skills that allowed them to have a go at this art form! The sessions aimed to ignite a passion for learning and community in a fun and highly engaging way - so it was awesome to see so many whānau come down in the evenings to observe or take part in our Te Ahi Ora programme. It was also great to see our tamariki participating in physically challenging activities, giving their self-confidence a boost and an opportunity for personal growth and development. We hope you'll agree that Te Ahi Ora was a blazing success.
