The seven moon shards

In a land far far away in the old age sits a town. In this town for the new year the town flys kites. Kites that are shaped like birds, geckoes and fish.Depending on which family you live in depends on the colour that you use.

In the middle of the day the moon picked a fight with the sun which caused a solar eclipse. The moon was starting to get singed and starting to crack. The moon turned into seven shards spreading across the sky, and they turned into shooting stars. The people in the town gathered all the shards of the moon.

At night there would be no light in the sky, only little stars. The town made a special month for the moon to celebrate the regathering of the shards. The town has to gather all the moon shards for a full moon, so that's how the moon shrinks and grows during the month as some fall out of the sky.

All seven shards of the moon have different roles to play in the world. The biggest shard is the weather if the biggest one is not in the sky.The weather is very bad . The littlest one is connected with the sea. The other moon shards are connected with plants, lakes, rivers, small creatures, success, and looking after the children.
