For Samoan Language week Room 12 spent time immersing ourselves in as much of the Samoan culture as possible. We created a class Siapo or tapa cloth using traditional designs, learnt a new game called Lape which is similar to kickball and created a class cookbook which included some Samoan meaai (food). We ended our week filling our tummies with chop suey. Yum!
