We joined PCC at 8am on Monday to raise the Samoan flag then came back to school to raise the flag here at school.   The theme for Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoa Language Week 2023 is ‘Mitamita i lau gagana, maua’a lou fa’asinomaga’ which means ‘Be proud of your language and grounded in your identity’.   On Tuesday 30th May for Garden to Table Rm 7 students made Fa’ausi - a traditional Samoan dish - from scratch, to celebrate Samoan Language Week. Lots of enjoyment as they gobbled down the sweet coconut bread, drizzled and soaked in a coconut caramel sauce.
