TRIATHLON - SATURDAY 25 MARCH

Thank you for all those who have donated time, money and resources to make this event possible, we are nearly there.

For those that have offered to Marshal - Tanya King will have the Marshals briefing at 8.30am in the Surf Club on Saturday morning. You will receive your Map and hi-vis there.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE TRIATHLON

On arrival please take bikes to the marked area on the Tom's Road car park.

PLEASE HAVE BIKES IN THIS ASSIGNED AREA BY 8:45am

Once bikes have been delivered SUPPORTERS MUST STAY OUT of the BIKE ARENA for SAFETY REASONS.

We ask that all junior children wear their helmets to the start line for safety and ease of bike transition.

Find the FLAG marking your year group on the beach, the teachers to look out for are:

New Entrants/Year 1
Miss Blakeley - Girls,  Mrs Renshaw - Boys 

Year 2
Miss Stevens - Boys Mrs Naylor - Girls

Year 3
Mr O’Hagan - Boys Miss Ell - Girls

Year 4
Mr Steele - Boys Miss Waters - Girls

Year 5
Miss Wood - Boys Mrs Strand - Girls

Year 6
Matua Khaylen - Boys Whaea India - Girls

Open Racers

Find the marked table at the finish line

Bikes - Matua Gardner & Miss Kelleher Races start and finish on Tītahi Bay Beach. First race begins at 9am sharp.
Children start according to their year group. Order of races will be: 9am Year 3: 500m run, 1km wheels (3 laps), 100m wade
Year 2: 300m run, 500m wheels (2 laps), 75m wade
NE/Year 1: 250m run, 200m wheels (1 lap), 50m wade
Any Open Juniors with the year 1 slightly later start 250m run, 200m wheels, 50m swim
Not before 10:00am

Open preschoolers race will be on the beach while our Marshalls move to the bigger track
Open Seniors will run just after the Year 4’s have started
All our Senior children run the same track
750m run, 1.5km wheels, 150m swim
Our Year 4’s, Year 5’s and finishing with our Year 6’s
(These are approximate distances and times and will be subject to conditions on the day).
