Lisa Campbell —

We had a 93% turn out for school interviews and all our staff loved meeting with you. On Friday a Seesaw survey will be sent out to you for some feedback.

The end of Term 2 and time for some downtime with your whānau. I know the teachers at school are looking forward to some time to rejuvenate and work on some projects for term 3. Term 3 is a 10-week term and we have a school show for the year 4-6 tamariki at the end of the term so exciting times.

Thank you to all the whānau who have helped at sports events, Saturday sports and in our classrooms we appreciate all that you do for our school.

Over the school holidays, our school hall floor will be refurbished and this is a big task and we hope to come back and see the new shiny floor.

I have just had the playground company come into school and do an audit on our school playgrounds and we will be having quite a bit of work done to repair things that need replacing. Over time and living near the sea has an impact on nuts, bolts etc.

It has been a funny term with alert levels changing and we had big numbers away from school. I am hoping that in term 3 we can all come to school and not have to worry about things.
