The spirit of athleticism and camaraderie shone through at Onepoto Park a couple of weeks back as students from all year levels gathered for an exciting Whole School Cross Country Event. The park was a hub of excitement, as students and whānau gathered to showcase either their passion for running or the nerves of a challenge.

The event was meticulously organised by the awesome Miss Kelleher again with all the kura kaiako stepping up to help in their allocated roles.

The course stretched everyone but all participants completed the run which made everyone super proud.

We had another beautiful Wellington day that added to the success and now we take 40 runners to the Porirua Inter School event to see who can qualify for the Wellington Regional Event.   Interschool Cross Country will be on Wednesday 24th May at Ascot Park. This will be for our tamariki in Year 3 and up and we will be taking the top 3 placings to compete in this.
