Solway Showground in Masterton was the venue for our Regional Qualifiers on Thursday. This event captures the very best runners from Wellington, Porirua, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa and the Kapiti Coast across years 4-8. We had a huge representation there with 18 of the 30 runners in the Porirua Team from our kura. They all did us super proud as you would expect and ran their hearts out in some chilly conditions over the hill. We had a huge support crew for the day so a huge thank you to all of the parents that took the day off to drive our athletes over and support them throughout their gruelling run.

We are incredibly proud of our entire team that did our kura and the Porirua area very proud.  A special mention to Stanley Sheridan who came 8th and Lennox Matenga who came 16th - well done!
