On Wednesday, a group of 46 of our senior tamariki made their way to Te Rauparaha Arena for an exhilarating 3-on-3 poitūkohu (basketball) competition against teams from other schools in Porirua. This event featured nine formidable Tītahi Bay School teams, resulting in a fantastic blend of competition, enjoyment, and a ton of sweat. We extend our thanks to Bex Fitzgerald, who not only served as a parent helper but also captured some incredible photographs of the action, which you can find in this article.

The 3-on-3 format promises to become a recurring highlight on our top class kura court, as basketball continues to be a sport that our tamariki enthusiastically embrace. As always, our Kura kids displayed exceptional behaviour, played with determination, and exhibited unity and respect both on and off the court.
