Free Coding Clubs at Porirua Libraries

Join us for coding fun at one of our three Coding Clubs! You can be a complete beginner or

more advanced. Bookings required as numbers are limited.Register today:

  • Coding Club at Cannons Creek Library on Tuesday 3:30-4:30. For ages 9-14, all levels. Code using Scratch block coding language.
  • New! HTLM Coding Club Online on Thursdays 3:30-4:30. For ages 9-14. Learn how to design your own website.
  • New! Hour of Code at Porirua City Centre Library on Wednesdays 4-5pm. For ages 8+, all levels welcome. Starting on Wednesday 16 February.

STEAM Ahead!

We’ve started brand new STEM sessions after school this term. You can meet our new Codey Rocky robots, create a Stop Motion movie, or an online escape room, and more!

You choose the activity and pick an available afternoon that suits you. For groups of 3-6 at a time. You can also book as a family/friend group.

Bubba Bubbles

Do you have preschoolers? Are you missing Baby Band/Storyworld? We are booking private Bubba Bubbles in our reading room here at Porirua Library. Bring a small posse for hand rhymes and stories and let us entertain you! Maximum 8 people per session. Also available over Zoom/Discord for age 3+.
