KERRY'S THOUGHTS

You know you have lived through a funny couple of years when you adapt to any changes that come your way.   Last newsletter I had days to go until I retire and now it is weeks.   Term 1 is always a fun time so I am delighted to be here and work with Matt Tilley to ensure the transition is effective.

Our thanks to Sarah Campbell our presiding chair and the Board for the effective way they have worked for Titahi Bay School.   We value and appreciate all the work you do.

We have a lot of very tired KURA kids at the moment and you can see this in their eyes as they arrive at school.  For the last 8 days of school we want to have fun and enjoy the company of each other.   So can you have a couple of early nights to bed so our KURA kids arrive fresh and ready in the morning.

Seesaw general comments and the year 6 principal comments will be uploaded to Seesaw from Monday.   During the next week your child's teacher will also post the Maths and Writing comments on Seesaw and you will also be advised of your child's class and classroom teacher for 2022.  Our tamariki will meet their new teacher and class for 2022 on Wednesday 8th December at 2.00pm.

Please note our last day of school is Monday 13th December.   As we finish at 12.30pm on the last day there will be no school lunches this day.   We also will have no fruit delivered so please ensure your tamariki bring morning tea to school that day.
