Over the past four weeks, we’ve been very fortunate to have Cricket Wellington visit our school and deliver a Smash Play Cricket programme for our junior/tamariki kids. We played games that involved Batting, Bowling and Fielding like Junk Yard Smash, Superstars, Build a Bridge, Messy Bedroom and Empty the Bag. We also learnt important values when playing these games that can be easily translated to the classroom and outside of school such as honesty (pono), teamwork (mahi tahi) and support (tautoko).

The nearest clubs to the school are the North City Cricket Club who are based at Linden Park, and the Porirua City Junior Cricket Club who are based at the Ngāti Toa Domain.
