Pedal Ready has been a huge success for our year 5 & 6 students. Learning bike safety in and around our school grounds sets our tamariki up to be confident and mindful of obstacles they might encounter when setting out on a bike ride. Our year 6 tamariki even headed out on the streets, learning how to ride safely and sensibly.

Important skills learnt;

• Stopping safely

• Indicating when turning

• Looking and being aware of driveways and side streets

• Wearing a helmet correctly

• Zig zagging through objects

What great skills our students took away from Pedal Ready this year. We can’t wait to see these skills in action during our Triathlon.
