TUMAKI PĀNUI
Kia ora, Talofa, Mālō e lelei, Bula and Kia orāna whānau
It has been another fabulous couple of weeks at kura under the beautiful Bay sunshine that is the gift that keeps on giving!
Our road patrol leaders do a fabulous job helping all of our whānau cross the road safely outside of school but it is the church corner of Waiuta and Kura Street that concerns me. People are parking too close to the corner so oncoming traffic is blinded from children crossing the road. Please put the safety of our community first even if it means you have to walk a few metres further.
You may have read in the news that the New Zealand Primary teachers agreement was recently settled for the next couple of years. This means that there is no more risk of strikes in the near future.
I know our kaiako are very much looking forward to seeing you all in week 10 for whānau conferences so please make a booking if you haven’t already.
Kia pai tō rā whakatā - have a great weekend
