Interested in furthering your tamaiti's reading? This could be for you!

Kia ora Koutou 

Te Kura o Tuahiwi has been lucky enough to be involved in a Ministry initiative called "Reading Together." This programme is an opportunity for whānau to discover different strategies to help their tamariki when reading at home. Opportunities include accessing the library, learning and discussing reading strategies and supporting one another to make a difference with literacy at home and beyond. This is open to whānau of Year 0-4 students. If you would like to be involved in this kaupapa, there are still 5 spaces available. Commitment is four one hour sessions over term 3. Sessions will be on a Friday during the school day and on a Wednesday afternoon.
