Apologies for Printing Error

Ann Gilroy —

You'll may find that two headlines have not been printed in your October magazine.

Missing Headlines on Two Pages

If your magazine is missing the headlines on pages 8 and 29 - we apologise. The headline and introduction on page 8 should appear as in the photo above: Christians in an Islamic Country by Christine Sorensen.

The title of the film review on page 29 is Amazing Grace which is reviewed by Paul Sorrell. The photo below shows what the page should look like.

These errors were not in the printing proof but happened in a glitch in the printing process. We are not sure if all the magazines we posted out, or just some, have the omissions.

We do not have any magazines to replace your copy so would appreciate it if you would accept our apology and the apology of our printer, Southern Colour Print. Like us they are very sorry not to have given you a magazine that meets our usual high standard.

We apologise to Christine and Paul in particular - your valued contributions do not appear in the form we had intended. However, your articles look magnificent and read well on our website. Thank you both.

Subscribers' and Friends' Evening in Auckland

The Tui Motu Board invites all subscribers and friends in the Auckland area to an evening on Thursday 7 November at the Columba Centre, 40 Vermont Street Ponsonby.

We’ll start with refreshments at 6.30 pm and the meeting will begin at 7pm. This is an opportunity to meet the directors of Tui Motu magazine, to give them feedback, to honour people in the area who have given particular service in promoting the magazine and to hear from Ann Gilroy, the editor, about the future plans for the magazine.

We look forward once again to sharing an evening with you!

For those travelling by car, there’s plenty of parking at the rear of the Centre.

Sisters of St Joseph's General Chapter

The Josephite Sisters' General Chapter is being held in Sydney at this time. You may like to pray for the success of the Chapter in discerning the Sisters' new direction or focus for the next six years and in electing a new leadership team.

Used Stamps

Thank you to all those who continue to send us small  and large collections of used stamps to be sold for Mary MacKillop Today's projects. We are grateful for your continued care.

Enjoy the October magazine despite having to write in the headlines yourself!
