August Issue is in the Mail
The August issue of Tui Motu magazine on the theme, clothing the naked, outlines the daily outpouring of mercy, especially by volunteers individually and in a range of organisations.
It also points to the social justice challenges the fashion and clothes manufacturing industry present to those of us in well-off countries. Once again the writers and artists in this issue provide food for thought and motivation for action in this Year of Mercy.
Blind Foundation Library
Each month the Blind Foundation Library makes an audio recording of Tui Motu magazine available to their subscribers. If you know of people with sight impairment who may like to hear Tui Motu, let them know about this service please.
New Administrator at Tui Motu Magazine
Paul Armstrong, whom many of you will have heard from over the past year, has now left Tui Motu magazine. Lynne Toomey ably acted as Administrator until Ben Stone was appointed and welcomed to the team. We thank Paul for his contribution to Tui Motu and Lynne for her able guiding of the administration in the interim. Check out our Facebook page to see Ben at work on his first day.
Renewal Reminders
We are changing the timing of our subscription renewal reminders. Now you will receive them BEFORE your subscription runs out, rather than after. It may feel as if your renewal reminder has come upon you quickly - and this change is why.
As always we thank you for your loyalty in subscribing AND we are always grateful when you encourage new people to subscribe.
Enjoy the August issue.
