Compassion, support and encouragement

Lockdown Thought — Day 43 now at Level 3

Mercy’s on-going challenge to us is to grow in understanding to keep alive our humanity and become a compassionate people. We can learn about the issues others are facing in lockdown before we judge them. We just need to remember that "these are our people".

We're seesawing! Two new cases and one death yesterday.
When we're fed up, face us with our many blessings
When we're anxious about the future, sit with us listening to the birds
When we're impatient, review the latest information and advice with us
When we're feeling untouchable, remind us of those grieving the loss of loved ones
When we're feeling overwhelmed, calm us with a peaceful pause
When we're gunning to judge others, relax with us over a cuppa
And nourish us with understanding and love
Compassionate Christ.
