Lockdown Thought — Day 8

At the centre of the principle of subsidiarity is the idea that trust and compassion in society is necessary for both the common good and the upholding of the dignity of individual persons. Our belief is that trust and compassion at all levels of society are the source of social integration and this, rather than coercive regulation, is more likely to result in social and economic organisation that meets genuine human requirements.

This is why we are investing in the health of the people of our countries and of the Earth community by staying at home to prevent the further spread of Corvid-19.
