Maturity is a process of growing into the best we can be. by Sergio Infantes Gª from Pixabay

Lockdown Thought — Day 9

I think of wine developing flavour and depth with age. It's like children and adults maturing by working together intentionally, with purpose and with reflection. I’m finding the African proverb very true: “If you want to go fast — go alone. If you want to go far — go together." This is particularly true while we're all staying at home and need to keep talking together about how we can live this time well.

despite the restrictions

we will live fully, thoughtfully and safely

in our bubbles today.

For a laugh:

I went to the chemist today and asked the assistant: "What kills the coronavirus?"

She replied: "Ammonia Cleaner."

I said: "Oh, I am sorry, I thought you worked here."
