Lockdown Thought — Day 32

It’s hard to know whether we can halt, let alone undo, the damage that we have inflicted on the environment. We may first need a spiritual renewal: to see Earth in the way astronauts have. Without a sense of awe and wonder, we may very well be blind to what is around us — the sumptuous, bountiful, sparkling, beautiful deliciousness that is nature.

through this day
focusing us on little surprises
that cut through the monotony of quarantine
allowing beauty and appreciation
to lift our spirits
in our bubbles.
