Lockdown Thought — Day 24

We remember the 11 women and men who have died of Covid-19 in our country and their families mourning their loss.

The best preparation for a good death is a good life. A life that is generous, adventurous, humble, festive, accepting, honest and loving. We may not know how we will die, or the consequences of it. But we can have ultimate trust in the One who has allowed us to experience life.

Let love bloom
like the ordinariness of daisies
the confidence of tulips
the generosity of hydrangeas
the vivacity of sunflowers
the persistence of convolulus
the drama of wisteria
the excitement of pohutakawa
the kindness of daffodils
the gratitude of pansies
the remembrance of roses
today in our hearts and in our bubbles
Living God.

A few laughs for the day:
