Blessings for Easter

May the blessings of Easter be in us
Where there is fear, let us hold to courage
Where there is desperation, let us feel support
Where there is powerlessness, let us call on community
Where there is aggression, let us spread tenderness
Where there is obstruction, let us find imaginative responses
Where there is conflict, let us press for just resolutions
Where there is obstruction, let us be inclusive
Where there is joy, let us delight
For it is in this land that we belong
And on strong, committed relationships that we depend
And in the love of God and one another that we thrive.
