Learn why fossil fuels are so bad for our world. Investigate ways to generate clean energy and how society can replace fossil fuels.

Follow this Process:

1. Watch these four video clips as a class:

1. Take notes from the videos and write down statistics and examples you will then use to promote clean energy in a poster. Complete this by yourself.

2. Brainstorm ways to make your poster fun, inviting and exciting to look at while also promoting why clean energy is so important to our world.

3. Summarise your ideas and start creating your poster. This can be done online or by hand.

4. Print out your poster and make a wall in your class full of your clean energy posters. Each person will present their poster to the class and choose one fact to share with the class that they learnt when making the poster.

5. Take action and decide how you will share your newly found knowledge about clean energy and raise awareness about harmful fossil fuels in your local community.

6. Capture and share these outcomes using photo and/or video and post on this site to inspire others.

Ask the class to find statistics and examples of their own, not from the example videos and build a resource bank to use with other students around NZ.
