Educator Background Information

Rob Clarke —

Important information for educators to take note of...

Age appropriateness - some of the issues this site deals with a extremely serious and adult in nature (for example: torture) so we advise educators and parents to view the materials prior to sharing these with students.

UNANZ and the UN will not be held responsible for adults sharing content from this site without careful consideration to the age appropriateness of the content and the students viewing the materials.

Curriculum links - where possible we will provide direct links to opportunities in the New Zealand Curriculum. We do however advise that educators using these resources should make their own links to the curriculum as appropriate to their context and the age/stage of their students.

We encourage educators to share with us how they have linked the resources to the curriculum so we can improve this resource.

Copyright and on sharing of content - all materials on this site are publically available via the Internet and have been curated for their quality and relevance to furthering the aims and mission of the UNAZ and United Nations.

Where materials are to be submitted by students and/or educators, we require your permission that you have obtained the necessary release to use the materials.

By submitting content for this site - either in the form of learning outcomes or in a webquest contribution - you agree to these terms.

Acknowledgement - all contributors of webquest content and/or learning outcomes will be acknowledged.
