Rangi's Corner
Read about some of the great things Rangi has spotted around our school recently. This week Rangi celebrates an achievement of our Y5/6 Leadership Groups
Rangi Ruru is the character who represents our learners. Rangi uses our school values and has definitely got ‘what it takes’ to be a great learner and a part of our community.
Tūī team learners are a part of leadership groups and meet each week with a goal of leading initiatives focussed on having 'What it Takes' to make our school an even better place to be.
We have seen increasingly impactful actions taking place around our school and in our community this year. Learners look for opportunities related to the Environment, Sport, Culture, Travelwise and The Arts.
The Arts leadership team were informed today that their recent video, titled 'Respect' has won FIRST PLACE at the Annual Blue Light Short Film Festival. We want to congratulate these learners and celebrate their video and success. We're super proud their achievements and the way our learners celebrate what makes UHPS such a special place to be. Congratulations to those students involved - we are looking forward to presenting you with certificates of achievement at the next opportunity and considering how we might spend the first place prize of $2000!
