From time to time children become unwell, or are involved in accidents at school.

Sickness

If your child is unwell in the morning please do not send him/her to school. Children who are unwell at school will be sent home. If your child has vomiting or diarrhoea they must remain away from school for a minimum of 48 hours/two days. 

Accidents

Minor accidents are attended to by staff members in the playground or in our school health room if necessary. 

• Office staff will always advise parents when a child has bumped their head. 
• In less severe cases of injury or sickness we may not contact the parent or guardian.
• In emergencies an ambulance will be called and/or the child will be taken to the nearest Accident and Emergency and parents will be informed. 

Please ensure that at all times we are informed of any important medical information and that we have current contact telephone numbers for home, business and emergency contacts.
