Those students who gained NCEA Merit or Excellence Endorsement last year who were in Year 11 or 12 were honoured at the annual Academic Assembly.

The college results were outstanding compared with other co-ed schools - well above the national average pass rate for all NCEA Levels. In the Wellington Region, Upper Hutt College is in the top 3 co-ed schools.

· 85% gained NCEA Level 1

· 91% gained Level 2

· 74% gained NCEA Level 3

At NCEA Level 2, 21 students gained Excellence Endorsement, and 26 Merit Endorsement.  Meanwhile at NCEA Level 1, 21 students gained Excellence Endorsement and 36 Merit Endorsement.
