Cupid delivers a shot of love

UHC Admin —

Love was in the air in Week 3, when UHC celebrated Valentine’s Day altogether. Year 13 student Miya Abbott-Tutaki tells us what happened.

Adorable little teddy bears and handmade cards with heartfelt messages were sold for the occasion, to friends, significant others, and favourite teachers.

It was wonderful to see so many people getting involved to celebrate such a lovely day.

Year 13 ‘Cupids,’ dressed up in togas and tutus, went to each class to deliver the little gifts, and it really did brighten up everyone’s day, especially those who weren’t expecting it.

It was such a beautiful thing to be a part of, and great to see people really getting into the spirit of the occasion.

Thanks to everyone who bought a teddy bear or a card; without you we wouldn’t have had this wonderful event.

And an even bigger thank you to my fellow Cupids and our hardworking Librarians, who worked behind the scenes to make this event run smoothly; it truly was such a special day filled with so much love.
